Displaying a mobile phone that is claimed to have been found on the street. The phone is connected to a screen, so the viewer can peek into the phone at the same time operate it. The viewer instantly constructs and presents a new narrative.

I organised the daily recordings over several years, including the social movement of 2019 in Hong Kong. I rearranged the footage, edited the recordings and rewrote the diary to fictionalise the owner of a lost phone.

The installation becomes a narrative machine and the materials serve as a database. Mixing private and public experiences, it enables the audience in a position to shift the roles of seeing and controlling, to respond history in the midst of randomness.

展示一部聲稱在街上撿來的手機，手機連接螢幕讓偷窺手機的觀眾，同時能操作影音內容，即時組成和展示新的敘事。

我整理了幾年以來，包括2019年大量日常記錄。以軟件重新編排素材日期，剪輯錄音及重寫日記，虛構一個遺失手機的機主。這些內容作為資料庫，裝置成為敘事機器。混雜私密和街道經驗，讓觀眾在窺視、觀看和操作的角色間轉換。「我」、觀眾和裝置在隨機性之中回應和面對歷史。
