Lok To Tang (b. Hong Kong, 1992) records the vestige of streets, landscapes, and the disarray of daily life as materials for creation. He reexamines the documentary images by re-composition and fragmentation, utilizing collage of personal and public audio-visual experiences to reassemble memories. He sees creation as the aesthetic exercise in organising the states and sentiments of stuttering. Moving images, photography, sound and graphics are the ways of his expression. His works have been shown in independent screenings in Hong Kong, Taiwan and China. He has created various music videos for indie bands. During 2023-24, he held solo exhibitions and curated music performances in Hong Kong, Taiwan and Munich. He is also a graphic designer actively involved in the DIY music and art scenes, for instance creating key visuals for the music performance of Otomo Yoshihide , Akira Sakata, Wong Hin Yan, David Boring, Wellsaid, and the exhibition of C-Lab, WMA, Para Site and Floating Projects. He currently works as art director of the music label collective “Untomorrow”.
鄧樂滔記錄街道痕跡、脫序的日常為創作素材,喜歡以事物的局部與紀實影像碎片化,拼貼和重組混雜個人與公共的視聽經驗,並視創作為將自身狀態抽絲剝繭的美學修練場。流動影像、攝影、聲音和圖像是他表達的方式。他曾在香港、台灣和慕尼黑舉辦個展、參與獨立放映和策劃音樂演出。又以平面設計活躍於DIY音樂、藝文場景,曾為大友良英、坂田明、北山Q男、黃衍仁、意色樓、David Boring、Wellsaid、破地獄、布萊梅等的演出;臺灣當代文化實驗場C-Lab、WMA、Para Site、Floating Project等的策展;癌石及韓麗珠等的著作,製作主視覺及書冊設計。現為音樂廠牌「明日未知」擔任美術。
